MEVA Schoolwide ESEA Programs • All MEVA students are eligible for Schoolwide ESEA (Title IA) supports and interventions. • MS Small Groups throughout the week. • HS Help Desk at 1:15 pm, Tuesday – Friday. • Regular team meetings to review students’ progress and to make programming adjustments, as needed. • Opportunities to earn high school credits for employment (work-study) and volunteering activities. • Asynchronous courses offer flexibility during the academic year and summer session, as needed. • Summer session for enrichment and credit recovery. • Reach out to your teachers if you would like to refer your student. • Utilize/Bookmark our new website to access the ESEA Dashboard, faculty listing, school calendars, forms, and policies/procedures, as well as other important information about MEVA. • Submit suggestions for ESEA activities to the Head of School; we are always working on school improvement. • Additionally, the ESEA (Title IIA) provides professional development for our teachers. • What professional development topics do you think would benefit MEVA teachers? Send your ideas to the Head of School.

MEVA is administering the Winter NWEAs: Math, Reading, and Language Usage, this week on Jan. 11th, 12th & 13th. Make-ups are available on Jan. 14th, if needed, or by appointment. The NWEAs apply to grades 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11. Please contact your advisory teachers for more details.

Just a quick and important announcement as we close out Fall Semester and move into Spring Semester. First, don’t forget that the last day your student can submit work is tomorrow Jan 7th, unless they have made other arrangements with their teachers. Second, required NWEA Winter Testing for all students in grades 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11, will be Tuesday, Jan 11th, Wednesday 12th, and Thursday the 13th. Spring Semester starts on Friday, Jan 14th. NWEA makeups may also be held on this day, if any are needed. Finally, for any new incoming students another Orientation session will be held this coming Sunday night. Stay tuned for further communications by Ms. Mohammadi along with her links to the session.

MEVA is running classes on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, December 20th, 21st & 22nd. The MEVA Winter Break begins on Thursday, December 23rd.

It's that time of year again! We are prepping your student's courses for Spring Semester starting on Jan 14th. 1. Your students will be able to see Spring Courses (Semester 2) listed on their "My Courses" landing page. Spring courses will be listed at the top however you can simply scroll down to see and access your current Semester 1 courses. You can also click on the subject tabs right under "My Courses" to get faster access to your fall course. 2. New students, be on the look out for messages regarding your onboarding orientation session with Mehry Mohammadi and Dr. Holly Chapdelaine.

The first semester ends on January 13th, 2022. Daily academic help sessions are available in the Middle School, and at the High School Help Desk, which meets at 1:15pm Tuesday – Friday. All students are invited. Reach out to your teachers if you have questions.
